Using RALUS and BU Exec 2010. We backup several other RHEL 5.5 boxes and those are fine. Have two that exhibit the following behavior:
- Go to BU Exec and create new backup job
- Choose server in question and authenticate to it. (Have tried using 'bad' login and it fails here)

RALUS of BE 2010 R3 installed on RHEL 5.4 64 Bit. As BE Client
We have installed the RALUS of BE 2010 R3 on the RHEL and its was successful. We have started the VRTUS** service in /etc/init.d
I am trying and considering to purchase Backup Exec 2012. I could like to know does Linux OS can do bare-metal recovery by Backup Exec 2012? Please help.

Backup Exec 2010 R2 on Windows 2003 Ent. SP2 (32bit). As Master and Media server
RALUS of BE 2010 R2 installed on RHEL 5.4 64 Bit. as BE Client.
Now, we are configing the RALUS for Oracle backup.
We have completed the RALUS installation and the Linux server is showing the root folder.
We just updated several servers from SLES 11.2 to SLES 11.3. Please support SLES 11.3.
We did just the same thing with a couple of Ubuntu 12.04 which also is not supported.
Because of security reasons it is not possible for us to keep with the old versions. We would very much apperciate it if it were to work for the new updates.

Can we select the RMAN script from the backup Exec policy console and execute it, as the job is fired from BE console.

Great to finally see linux agents now cater for Ubuntu and we no longer have to modify the installralus.sh script. I have a linux box that has had its role set change and I now want to be able to backup a NFS share that points to a DAS on the box. When is BE 2012 going to support Ubuntu 12.10? If only I had known before migrating the DAS to this box!!

I've installed the remote agent on one of our Linux machine on the DMZ. In the beginning there were network-related issues that prevented the backups from running. I've ironed them out using the knowledge base articles. The full backups are now running on this machine; however the incremental backups are failing.
Looking for a recent update and I can't seem to find any recent news. I see that SLES 11 sp1 is supported in the SCL for BE 2012, but not SP2 or SP3?

I am working at a content creation company that uses OSX 10.9 and we need to add all our OSX workstations to backups. Come to find out agent of mac only supports up to 10.7. We need to get a compable version of the agent for OSX 10.9 and above as quickly as possible.
I need the Source Lines of Code (SLOC) counts for Backup Exec 2010 and/or 2010 R3. I also need the SLOC counts for Remote Agent for Linux Servers and Windows Servers. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Approximate counts would be helpful as well. Thanks.

I have just startet to take backup of some SAP HANA system that are running on SUSE Linux Enterprise 11 (i have backup running on other linux system just fine)
I have just recently installed BEWS 2014. The upgrade from 2010R3 was a failure so I removed and installed 2014 fresh.
I now have 2 agent components in Trial mode that I can't seem to get rid of? How do I removed these Trial Agents????

We are doing a trial of Backup exec 2014 in a Mix of windows /Linux/ Sun environment.
The Sun solaris operating system version is SunOs 5.10
When we try to install RALUS on SunOs, we get a message "Not Supported"
Any help is appriciated.
